Have you ever gotten the feeling that most of our big picture problems stem from a tendency toward trying too hard?
So far so good in the backyard garden – here is a cheap and quick solution to the problem of falling tomato vines that cost me nothing while remaining environmentally sound. It definitely beats leaving the vines & leaves to rot on the muddy ground.
When the parody goes too far, you just end up with a new product that is practically impossible to distinguish against the thing you were trying to make fun of. As you can see, this leads to a sort of problem when it comes to the ultimate goal: entertainment.
Getting rid of standing water is the best way to cut down your bug population in Florida. In a related occurance, tomatoes with plenty of sun and water also need something they can cling to and grow up with. As soon as one problem is solved the next one pops up – but at least I seem to be learning a bit about what works and what is needed for backyard farming success.
Some bugs or critters in the garden are as much a fan of the pepper plant as I am, but the problem is they’re not waiting for the peppers to have a chance to grow!
Research keeps pointing to the beneficial aspects of getting dirty – and now it looks like occasional contact with soil can help you solve problems faster while experiencing less stress overall. Everyone who enjoys gardening and yard work lets out a collective: “DUH!”
